Samsung galaxy fold z release

I have pre ordered the fold z and had conflicting information from EE, such as the 18,21 September and we have no date so no one should be giving out a date is what I have been told.

 

Do we have a confirmed ee release date as to when I will get my product

Yeah just called and spoke to someone in a UK call centre who confirmed the same, that there were no delays with stock and that they would be starting dispatch from today so hopefully delivery tomorrow. 

 

Of course I will not hold my breath! but she did sound quite confident after speaking to the sales team management.

Hi all, 

 

New customer joining to ee and in the same boat as all of u. Pre ordered the fold 2 on the 4th and no update as to when I get it. Heard the 'first come first serve' basis spiel but nothing more after that. 

 

Appreciate everyone's update on this post. Has anyone got a text from dpd / we yet on delivery?

I've just got off the phone to EE and been told they don't have them in stock and not sure as when they will be getting any. 

 

I did say they will tell customers all sorts . Very frustrating and disappointed 😞

Well apparently no one in EE knows when they are coming. The messenger chat guy is insisting they don't know when it's coming. Still awaiting stock apparently.

Thanks for finding out another update. 

 

It's shocking really ....makes you wonder what the purpose was of 'preordering' an item if you dont receive it on the actual day of release.  Surely that beats the purpose of actually 'pre-ordering'

 

I'm even more shocked that no one from EE has replied in this group.

 

I'll get a hold of someone from EE as well to see whether they tell another story.....

This is really frustrating, I ordered with EE thinking it'd be simple. My order number still errors out on the tracking page, and speaking to customer service all I got was:

 

  1. My order has been sent to the wrong address
  2. My order has not been dispatched as there is no stock
  3. My order was dispatched on the 14th
  4. My order will be dispatched soon as they have stock, which may not be for a bit.

All from the same chat! I mean really, it was almost like they were making up answers to make me go away. I'm in half a mind to cancel my order with EE and go direct to samsung, they were showing delivery slots for next week... And at least I might actually know if my order exists/is going to the correct address.

 

 

I’ve just got off chat. I pre ordered on the 1st. Apparently I will “get it on time”, however I’ll get a notification when they have stock.

 

Great consistency.

I was just told on chat they were definitely in stock and dispatching today! I've screenshot it but nit sure how to post it!

I was told by an advisor that there was none in stock at the moment and could take up to 14 days to be delivered

Some consistency would be nice, is there anyway of getting an EE person to just weigh in on here?
