I bought a Samsung galaxy active 2 along with a 4g contract for the watch so I could use my watch without the phone. I did this in good faith having researched the watch and confirming that the watch has roaming capabilities. I’m now spending at least six months away from the UK and my minutes and data are all included in my roaming package. But EE advised me that the watch will not work outside of the UK. This wasn’t made clear when I bought the watch. The watch is now just a watch and I can’t make calls on it. I’m still paying for the ability to use data and calls on the watch. This is really unfair as the watch is fully capable of roaming and it’s only EE blocking it. When will EE provide the calls and data that I’m paying for?

Do you mean not possible with EE, or not possible with any network?

@Bongoman9 These people ie me are users of this public forum that you have posted your question on. I also know that you can not have roaming enabled on a watch tariff as it’s not possible to have roaming on any watch tariff. Which is why I put up that link for you to see. You are correct your phone tariff has roaming but the watch tariff doesn’t and that watch tariff has its own data allowance as this is not shared from the phone tariff. Only your calls/text allowance is shared when in the UK with your watch that watch can not even use data when out of the UK.
while you say I don’t known what tariff you have your are correct I don’t known what phone tariff you have but EE only have one watch tariff and they all work the same so I known exactly what watch tariff you do have apart from what you are paying each month as there are different costs for different watches and then there is the upfront cost that can change the monthly bill of that watch tariff but the tariff allowance and what that gives you are exactly this same.
