SIM not provisioned

I have been using the same pay as you go SIM for over 10 years, starting off with Orange and now converted to EE.
However, my phone now says "SIM not provisioned" and I get network errors. My phone still recognises the number so the SIM isn't broken.
I tried to call the EE customer service and input my number but it wasn't recognised - I'm worried it has been deactivated. It doesn't work with my spare phone either.

When was the last time you made a chargeable call or text? Could it be that your number is in hibernation?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.
