S21 256 White Backorder

Hi

I placed an order for the S21 256gb white last Thursday. Yesterday the website has this listed as usually dispatched within 1 day which it still states today - but I haven't heard anything about my order.

 

Can you confirm when this will be in stock? Thanks.

I have checked our stock and can see this phone is available to order and to expect dispatch within 14 days. 

 

As soon as your order starts to progress and is ready for delivery you will be notified.

When ordering my s21 256gb white (5.9.21) it stated dispatch within 7days will that be longer now?

Would this mean an additional 14 days on top of the 7 days quoted last week when I ordered?

I also ordered the s21 256gb in white on the 27th August when it said dispatch within 7 days. Its now gone 9 working days and no update. And the community now saying 14 days. Absolute joke EE. Called customer services last week and was told my order was on track. They then had the cheek to send me an email the same day to say its on track. No its not  no point asking the community about dates as they can only see what you see. Customer services are not much better. I've been with EE for a long time and this is by far the worst upgrade experience I've had. (There were other issues aside from stock levels). Not impressed. No faith in customer services anymore. 

How irritating! I paid EXTRA for the 256 model purely for the fact that it was the only model due for dispatch within 24 hours and I'm desperate for a new phone as mine is broke.. I would have saved my money and got the cheaper version with less storage if the website was up to date and I'd have know I'd have to wait weeks anyway!

You really need to update your website as it's completely misleading information!

@Katie_B   Thoughts on this?  I was quoted 7 working days, but it looks as though it is taking a lot longer for many peoples devices to arrive.

 

I understand EE is having stock issues, however s21 of all varieties (colour, capacity and variant) appears to be in stock with all other vendors and networks.

 

The least EE could do is give us an honest appraisial of when we can expect our devices.

 

I ordered mine on 03/09/21 and am aware of the "Dispatch in up to 7 days", but it seems like many aren't getting it within this time frame.

Following this for updates. Ordered lilac which was showing in stock at the time. Now on back order. Not holding out much hope for the 7 day time frame 😭
