My phone cannot detect the modem that I have been always using with it.

Any solutions, please?

Hi @soni62gh

Tried restarting both devices?

Is your modem in discovery mode?

Thanks

Hi @soni62gh ,

By modem, I believe you are referring to the 4GEE router which does indeed have an inbuilt modem.

By cannot detect, I believe you are saying that the router's WiFi SSID cannot always be found.

The standard solutions are to turn the phone WiFi off and on, and to carry out the reboots as advised above. You may also leave the phone connected the entire day to see if the connection still disappears.

If the problems persist, you will need to isolate the problem by getting a second WiFi device to connect to the router. If this second device, such as a laptop, has the same issue, the router may be faulty and might be returned for testing.

Alternatively, you could replace the 4GEE router with a device such as the Netgear MR1100 bought online so it can be returned if not suitable. Good luck!

Does the phone see the mobile router's SSID in its list of networks seen? If so, tell it to Forget that connection & then connect afresh.

Many thanks to you all.

I have restored connection between my phone and the modem.

I deleted the modem from the list stored on my phone and waited for some time before restarting both devices.

Thanks again. 🙂🙂🙂
