Re: New pay as you go packs

Hi, right so if I am reading correctly regarding the boosts, if you are a legacy customer and I stay on my current pack type rather than changing to a new type of pack I can continue accruing boosts? For example I Currently have 27 boosts if I stay on my current now legacy pack I  am continue collecting as many packs as I like? If I Was to change onto a new pack I would then be limited to my 27 plus the 6 boost limit so I'd be limited to 33 boosts?

Yes, @andyc142 , that's what it says in What are EE Free Boosts? :

  1. With our new range of packs, you get a Free Boost of data to your allowances every two pack purchases up to a total of six boosts.
  2. Legacy and 2020 customers

If you move from an older pack to our newer pack range, you will not lose any boosts you have already earned on your allowance. Once you have moved to our newer packs, you will be subject to the new Free Boost rules as laid out above and will be able to earn an additional six boosts on top of your allowance.

Yeah that's what I read but doesn't explain if you stay on the current old packs if you will be limited to only 6 new boosts or if you can continue to accrue them indefinitely.

Yes, it does cover that:

If you're still on one of our older pay as you go packs, your current Free Boost options remain the same as when you purchased your pack

OK so there will still be no limit to the number of boosts you can accrue going forward using the legacy packs?

I don't know what more you want us to say. It & all your Qs are covered in that article.

Unfortunately they are not answered. There is no answer to my question about whether you can still add more boosts indefinitely on the legacy packs. Yes it says the options will be the same but to me saying the options are the same is saying that you can choose between what you want to boost ie mins or data. Nothing to do with you can carry on collecting boosts for years or you will be limited to only 6 more additional boosts.

Hi @andyc142

On the legacy packs, every time you buy 3 x 30 day or 12 x 7 day packs, you can choose a new allowance Boost, in addition to the one(s) you already have.

I can't see any information about any limits at all.

Chris

You had an option to choose a boost every 3 months as well as the option of which Boost to choose. Both options are unchanged.

My query is like others I have built if a lot of boats I want to go from a £30 pack to a £15 pack but its says confusingly.

"You'll lose your Free Boosts

£5 packs aren't eligible for Free Boosts"

I'm not being a £5 pack do why does it even show this message?
