Which are you trying to do, connect to WiFi or connect to mobile data? You can't do both at once.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Yeah I know I can’t do not at the same time, I have tried to do both separately and it’s not working. I put the Wi-Fi password in and the Wi-Fi sign flicks on then goes straight back off. I know it’s not a Wi-Fi issue as everyone else in the house is connected. Then with the mobile data it is just not connected properly every now and then I will have a pile of watts apps and messengers through then I can’t send any back

Tell the phone to Forget the WiFi connection & then connect to it afresh.

What's the source of your WiFi?

Hi there @Dp01

Thanks for posting on the community.

Have you tried resetting your network settings, to do this go into Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings?

This will remove any saved WiFi passwords.

Leanne.

Yeah I’ve done that as well

Thanks @Dp01

Have you tried backing up your data and factory resetting your iPhone?

Leanne.

No I haven’t that yet was hoping I wouldn’t have to  but can’t think what else I can do

It does seem like you have tried most steps @Dp01

Can you disconnect all other devices and see if the iPhone connects to WiFi?

Leanne.
