Phone number not formatted correctly

I have recently been unable to send text message to one of my contacts, the error message says 'unable to send, phone number not formatted correctly

What phone are you using?

Are you able to text other contacts?

Can you call this contact?

Huawei P30, I can text everyone else in my contacts and I can ring the contact I can't text

Are you trying to send a new message, or reply to an older one/previous thread?

Thanks @BarryM1301.

Can you make a note of the number, then delete the contact and try sending the number a text?

Make sure you use the format 07 instead of +447.
