Phone delivery signature due to coronavirus

Hi. I know usually I would need to be in in to take delivery of my phone. I’ve just had a txt saying it will arrive tomorrow but I may not be able to get the day off to sit in for it due to the current circumstances and changing the day isn’t an option.

My girlfriend will be in though and I’m wondering if she would be able to collect it instead of me if a signature is not required.....as  I’ve heard a few delivery companies are saying they won’t be due to the coronavirus

Afternoon @ben20k

Thanks for posting on the community.

Currently the DPD driver will need to see ID, you can view up to date information on the DPD website.

You will have the option to change your delivery, DPD will send you a confirmation text the day before arrival to confirm, with a link to track your parcel and an option to rearrange the delivery date.

Thanks.

Leanne.
