Hi, I'm a new customer and ordered a Samsung S20 a week ago, 24/4/20, my upfront costs have been taken from my bank account and I have received an order number and was told my order would be dispatched within 24 hours and I would receive updates from the courier service, since then I have received no communication or updates before, when I track the order it tells me that it can't track it at the moment. Called support and waited on the phone for almost an hour before it disconnected me, absolutely ridiculous and wish I had just gone with O2 now, I understand that coronavirus has caused delays but that's just an excuse at this point when my friend ordered a phone from O2 YESTERDAY and received it this morning.
Even just an "expected" delivery date would be appreciated.

Who's gonna get on with 0800 number at this time of the night?
@LauriearnoldRest assured they won't bump you on the order but was what you ordered in stock and out for next day delivery? I doubt it. You ordered on back order and that means as soon as EE get it, you will get it the day after. Don't order phones online if they say out of stock. You never know how long it can take.

@Profile closedI know, but people have this expectation now of some instant service. EE could take this on board and have maybe 1 or 2 people to monitor these forurms for real of a night. LOL. Wishful thinking

"People have this expectation of instant service" mate it was in stock when I ordered it or I wouldn't have ordered it and no other phone company atm is struggling this much to send out stock. I was told it would dispatch within 24 hours, even on my email confirmation it says this so why insert yourself in this? The reason I expect my phone to be here is because EE told me it would be here about a week ago, and whenever I talk to them over the phone I'm told to use the tracker but I put my order number in and it just says I will recieve a text from DPD when out for delivery. Also yet again another day without any updates from EE, at this point I'd bw happy with just a refund so I can order from a competent company.
