Pay as you go Sim Card in Electronic Gates

I hope someone can help?
I currently have a contract sim card in an electronic gate to a property, I need to replace this with a pay as you go sim. I have a PAC code, so can I do this online or would I have to go to a store to get this sorted out?

You can't use a PAC to port a no. within the same network but you can phone EE to cancel your contract & transfer its no to PAYG. The SIM won't need to change; it's the plan on it that changes.
You may find you need to stick the SIM in a phone in order to receive texts to register it & maybe for other reasons like top-up.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

The contract one is EE and I have the PAC code and I was going to purchase an EE pay as you go?

As I said, you don't use a PAC for that. PACs are only used between diff networks.

Welcome to the community 🙂
I can see you've had the right information from @XRaySpeX regarding using your PAC.
You can speak to our customer care team and instead of using the PAC, you can move the pay monthly account over to a pay as you account. This would mean you would keep the same number and remain on EE.
