Quick confession, I hate phones. Just have an old basic phone to keep in the car just in case.
Ordered SIM from EE, put it in the phone, signed up online. Confronted with setting up automatic payments. I don't do those, even if it says you can cancel them afterwards.
Clicked on top-up instead, did a one off payment. However, calls now cost 35p and it says I have no call minutes on my account.
Should I just leave it like this as I don't use the phone if I can help it or is there something I can do to set it up properly?
Thanks for any help.

You need to buy a time limited Pack from your PAYG credit if you want your calls to be included but if you don't use it often it probably best to leave it as it is & pay 35p/min for calls & 15p for texts.
