PAC code

I recently joined EE, but through interacting with their website it is not somewhere i want to stay.

I do want to keep my phone number so i need the PAC code from them, but texting them doesn't work(no response), the online cancellation doesn't work(error, unable to accept request), and when i called them they said i had to wait 30 days?

I'm on a pay as you go sim, so there is no "contract" to which i should be bound to, and all the info they give on the website said that i should be able to receive a PAC code instantly upon request.

Any help, or do i actually have to wait the 30 days?

@RyanDavies2 : Did you text PAC to 65075 to get your PAC?

There is no online cancellation, so I don't know what you are looking at.

When i text PAC to 65075, i get no reply. Its weird because if i mistype it like "PAV", it will say its the wrong keyword but it just doesn't respond to "PAC".

Online there was a section called "leaving EE" which allowed me to request a PAC code, but the page would give me an error when i request.

Hi @RyanDavies2.

Can you try texting INFO to 85075?

This will return a text message with information on leaving EE.

If you're still unable to get a PAC you could try giving our Customer Care team a call.

Jon

I have tried all the methods given from texting INFO.

If "07953 966 250" is the customer care team, then it was them who told me i would have to wait 30 days to get the PAC code. Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Ryan

Hi @RyanDavies2.

Did they say why it would take 30 days?
