I have changed from pay as you go to pay monthly (on ee for both) and requested my number be changed, it’s been 4 days and it hasn’t... when will it happen? I can’t set up my phone until it does.

I'd recommend having a quick chat with our Customer Care Team via our get in touch page. (Just tap the 'Let's chat' tile)
They'll be able to check your number transfer has been requested.

When you ordered the new SIM it was asking you for a no. you wanted to port into EE from another network. It is not for an existing EE no. You will need to call CS to transfer your PAYG no. to your new contract SIM.
