Hi Can anyone please help?
My two brothers, mum, Dad and I all have EE mobiles and non of us can make calls from our mobile numbers to the work landline number.
I contacted EE a couple of months ago and they said it was due to works getting carried out locally and that issue would be resolved but it still hasn't. We have also had numerous customers emailing to say they can't get through either. It always says the number is invalid.
I have also spoken to our IT company and they suggested there may be a "call routing issue" with EE Network and that it would sort itself out but its been 2 months and it still hasn't.
Can anyone please help? It doesn't look professional at all when customers call and they are informed the number is "invalid".
Thank you

Hello @EmmaCar332.
Thanks for coming to the community and letting us know this has still not been resolved.
Are you able to try calling your work landline from another phone and let me know what this says.
Are your customers calling the work landline and being diverted to a mobile?
Speak soon,
Katie.

Hi Katie,
Yes other networks have been tested and they get through fine. no customers are not being diverted to a mobile.
Thanks,
Emma

Thanks for getting back to me @EmmaCar332.
In this case I would recommend getting back in touch with our technical care team who have account access and can complete a full diagnostics.
Please be sure to keep me updated,
Katie 🙂

Hi @EmmaCar332
I may be doing the C/S agent you spoke to previously a disservice, but the majority of time that "local issues" are referred, to this means a local coverage fault.
Local coverage issues would tend to cause signal issues on your phone rather than problems calling particular numbers, which you are correct to surmise are likely call routing issues with the prefix/area code.
By means of a test, this should mean that all EE users in particular parts of the country (or potentially nationally) would have no other issues but be unable to call a particular number range.
If this is the case, then the C/S agent will probably need to get a faults ticket raised to an internal department responsible for datafill & routing data. Out of interest, what's the first 8 digits of the number? Please don't post the whole number on here - this is a public internet forum.
