Mate 20 pro order issues

I pre-ordered a mate 20 pro and on the 25th had a dispatch email and next day it was at the dpd depot. I had no further updates or delivery messages so phoned EE who have now said it was a technical issue and there was no phone sent. How is this possible if DPD are saying it's at the depot it's so frustrating.

If you go to the depot with some photo ID and paper ID you should be able to pick up your package, that is if it's not a technical mistake as EE have said.
As there is no account access on these forums then only CS on 150 can say for sure.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

I managed to speak to DPD earlier who said a parcel was scanned into the depot so I'm going tomorrow morning it's just weird why EE are saying it was not sent and they need to investigate it further and resend my order.
