Lost in car connectivity

I've used my Huawei P20 in my Ford Fiesta for almost 2 yrs with no issues. Usually plug in via USB and Google maps pops up on the car console. Nowadays is says unable to connect on my phone and takes me to a website called Smart Device Link (SDL). Asked the guys at Ford yesterday and they said it must be a problem with the phone. Not sure if there were any updates that caused the problem. So did a software update yesterday and problem still exists. Anyone else come across this? I can still use Bluetooth to play music etc but really rely on the connection for Maps. Thanks Simone

Hi @Simwok87

The best place to check for any software updates is on your device itself - EE (as a network operator) wouldn't hold records of this.

Do you get any options in Google Maps itself, to "cast" to your car setup or reconnect?

Hi, I managed to figure it out. I think I needed to reset some of the Android Auto settings after doing a software update. Many thanks!
