Activate sim/ what is my new phone number?

I am currently waiting for my new sim to activate but there is no information in the sim pack regarding the phone number associated with the sim. It seems that knowing the phone number is the first step for many tasks, even for posting this question.

Text NUMBER to 150 from it.

 

You may also find your mobile no. in your About Phone settings.
