hello, a friend has given me an samsung j3 which I need as my old phone does not have wifi/data and I need to download thenhs app. The previous contract was with vodaphone but I am now on ee. I have installed an ee sim and wifi is running. Will my number come up when I start my monthly contract with ee? At the moment caller id is blank.
thanks

No, that's not using the SIM; that's using WiFI. You need to use the phone on EE's mobile network to know if it works. I suspect it needs unlocking from Voda to be able to use an EE SIM.
