Linking Phone Number to Online Account

I used to have my mobile number linked to my online account and all was working well.

Now when I log in it asks me to link a number, which I do (my number never changed) but it says that this number is already linked to an account?

Any ideas please?

@keith2016 Have you changed anything since you originally had your number to your account? I would suggest you speak to customer service, as they can cancel the previous one and you can register again, or they can check why you cannot log-in, if that is what you are trying to do. Have you tried logging into your account?

Havent changed anything, only account login password.

Customer services costs 25p a minute and you have to listen to music for ages.

Can log in okay nut then it asks to link a number to your account (which I had done before and used the App for ages), now it won't link the number to the account as it says it is already registered. Very annoying. And live chat also fails - says I have to pay 25p per minute!

@keith2016 Live chat is not for pay as you go, I thought that it was 25p per call and recently during the pandemic it was free to call 150. You will definitely need to call customer service to get this sorted as there is nothing can be done in the forums.

 

Just wondering have you got the latest My EE App? Have you tried logging in via the website to see if you can?
