Recently changed to EE broadband and only just realised our handsets are not ringing out.

@Pam266 Did you take out a landline contract also ? You can just have a BB line without a landline. Your account and the emails you received when taken this out will have this information on it.

Do you get a dial tone? Does it announce your correct no. when you dial 1470 17070?

yes we get a dial tone and yes it is the correct number

What happens when you ring another no? Do you get a ring tone once you dial? What happens them? Do you get a recorded msg?

If you can call other people then the phone is ringing out. Do you mean the handset is not ringing when you recieve a call? If that is the case the handset may be faulty or possibly the ringer is switched off in the phone settings.

First just check the phone options, if the ringer is still switched on then ring 17070 and select option 1, hang up and your phone should ring within 30 seconds.
If the problem persists ring CS to sort it out for you.
