Internet and vol lte1 drop when I go to Alfreton

Hi, Whenever I visit my parents in Alfreton Derbyshire, I lose Internet connection completely. I can only use WiFi until I leave the area, reset access point names and then restart my phone. I can still make calls and use WiFi but the vol lte1 symbol isn't there and no 4/3/2g/H+ connection at all.

I pass Alfreton in my commute to work.  I get neither 4G nor reception as I drive through. If on hands free call I always apologise "just going through Alfreton.". I have the same issue with with both my old and new phones.

Hi @Disciliodave

I've taken a quick look at some drive-test data for Alfreton, is there any specific location that you're finding as poor?

Have you reported your issues to EE, either using the status checker or via C/S?

De557br is always terrible!

One of the serving sites for Alfreton is equipped with EE's "extended range" 800Mhz service, and I suspect that at DE55 7 this could potentially be the dominant coverage, especially indoors.

Any EE user on PAYG won't have access to this coverage layer, and this could also skew perceptions of the network in this area.
