I have an unlimited everything plan and keep getting text messages telling me I've used up 80% of my data and my data gets cut off. This is really frustrating and inconvenient. So I've had to pay an extra £5 a month on numerous occasions for extra data. Why would I need to do that if I clearly have unlimited???
I have spoken to EE by phone and the representative said I will get £30 credited to me and they also said they will take off the extra £5 charges but nothing was taken off. Really upset about this. Please help

It's only talking about data that you may potentially gift to other nos. on your a/c if you choose to. It's just a warning just in case you wanted to. You may safely ignore it & carry on using data for your own purposes including hotspotting.
Notice that it didn't say "You've gifted data you can gift" just that "You've used data you may gift".

Hi mate. Thanks for the reply but I said EE cuts off my internet after 40GB. Its not gift data or anything like that at all. It's showing as my usage allowance and I'm saying I am unable to use the internet at all. So I have been having to buy extra data to see me through until my next refill. And it doesn't refer to the used data as data I can potentially gift. I want EE to reimburse all my extra charges. Really not happy about this. Thanks for replying though mate but the issue is not resolved.
