I just installed my sim and I'm getting two icons. This looks unclean. Is there a way remove one of them?

What phone is it, looks to me like the 4G on the right is your Signal Notification, ie Signal Strength within a 4G Coverage, and The 4G on the left is showing 4G Voice Calling option.

Motorola.

Yeah, Is there a way to hide the voice calling one?

If you don't use it. Check if it can be disabled in Settings.

If you had a Samsung you could have removed it with an app called Good Lock. This is a app made by Samsung for Samsung phones.

This is a icon from the system so it can't be removed any other way on other phones.

Others have already mentioned some aspects of this. But it's worth mentioning, that disabling 4G-voice-calling (VoLTE) does remove access to EE's "extended range" 800Mhz coverage.

This can sometimes make the difference between having coverage and not.
