I’m trying to gift data from my phone to my 4Gee WiFi. Both monthly plans on same contract. When I try, it tells me I can’t gift from a watch - I don’t have a watch!! Is gifting from phone to 4GEE WiFi not allowed. If not, where does it tell me that?

Is the 4GEE WiFi on a 30 day contract? You can't gift to or from those.

I presume you mean they are separate contracts under the same family MyEE a/c?

hi Chris,
made no difference. I get the same message regardless of using the app or the my ee website to try gifting.

OK thanks for confirming that, @Johncv
I'd recommend speaking to our Tech Gurus so that they can find out why this is happening.

thanks, Chris. It appears that, contrary to what I believed, you can't gift data from a phone to a 4G router, even although they are on the same contract. I understood this to be possible, but knew that router to phone was not allowed. So seems I have a phone contract with significantly excess data and a router contract with not enough!!

Is it a 4G Home router, @Johncv?
Chris
