I've recently upgraded to fibre 36 from standard and my Internet drops on the regular and kicks everybody off the network. Part of the deal is we get FTTP, if fibre runs thru the street then to our property on the standard line instead of of a new fibre line would that cause a problem with the Internet?
Thanks in advance

Hi @Vicgurt ,
I'm sure it would be ok with the community for you to summarize and copy-paste the opinions on here to help your cause.
There's no way this is deliberate. No engineer would cause this amount of trouble for his or her colleagues and a customer. I always say to my colleagues that we deal with enough broken things at work not to be deliberately contributing to brokenness.
All the quiet line testing and leave plugged into test socket stuff in an above link is fine to do. Some threads with similar symptoms put it down to electrical interference. One thread said disable 5 GHz radio which I didn't find all that plausible. I know some non-branded network devices can cause loss of functionality on a network (e.g. usb docking devices).
But at the end of the day it's a judgement call of what might be wrong and ten people will give you ten different opinions. Things were working before you upgraded and very shortly after EE did their work the problems appeared. There's only so much debugging that is reasonable before you're in way-out territory.
When I was responsible for shared house internet, I would feel very bad and embarrassed at being told the internet was down so I hope EE brings you stability soon.

We bought a firestick when we upgraded and its been plugged in ever since, and a few times when I've clicked multiplayer games on my Xbox the Internet go's instantly. Tbh I dismissed those being the problem.
I'm getting a load of these messages on the event log.....

Did you ever get a phone & do the QLT from the test socket? Proving there is noise on the line from outside is worth all the logs in China! As well as all the identical routers that EE can chuck at it that you seem to be eagerly awaiting with no just cause.

I'm getting a phone later then I will do a test.
Nice one @XRaySpeX

@XRaySpeX just a quick one. I've plugged my new hub in and I was wondering if the noise margins are exceptable and also how do you update the firmware please. Thanks in advance
