Early Upgrade Order

l14m2013
Explorer

I ordered a new phone using the Early Upgrade earlier, and selected the Superfast Delivery with Expert Set-Up and other than the first confirmation email from EE I've not heard anything.

It's getting closer to the times listed in the email but I haven't received any other emails, and there's nothing in the junk/spam folder.

At this point I'm not even sure it went through properly as the money still hasn't been taken for the upgrade.

Hello @l14m2013 ,

Welcome to the community,

Firstly which phone did you order? I would suggest you ring customer service to find out, as here we have no account access, and they will be able to find out what is going on.

The money will probably be taken once your order is dispatched.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Hi, it was the iPhone 11 Pro, I think I may have to call as you said. I was attempting the live chat but it’s very busy.

Hi, wouldn’t you be better waiting for new iPhone that’s literally about to come?

@ricardochoa , I agree with you, but depending which size etc, they are not coming out until October or November or possibly December, thanks to the pandemic, but it seems some customers would still prefer the older phones, not sure whether those have already dropped in price, and that could also be an incentive to some.

I am waiting for Apple’s latest one, and I know the one I want will not be available until sometime in November, from what I have understood.

I understand but prices for existing line only drop once new models are launched, I would wait no matter what as now seems to be a terrible time to do anything unless your phone is faulty or lost (even so I would use an old one or borrow one)

just my 2 cents

@ricardochoa ,right once again, I always keep my old phone as a reserve, in case something happens to my current one, but not everyone does or thinks like that, unfortunately. Not everyone wants the very latest either for some reason or want to wait, so they go for the one that is available now.

@l14m2013,

Did you manage to speak to our customer care team tonight?

If you can let me know the colour and size variant of the iPhone 11 Pro you have ordered and I can check the stock levels for you.

Did you receive an email with your order confirmation? You can track your order online using the 12 digit reference starting XKN.

Alex 🙂
