Hi all. In January I’ve received a SMS with the deal from EE and BT regarding home broadband. Deal said if I take the broadband I’ll get 50% off of my next three mobile phone bills. Sounded good, so I’ve called and did the deal. Now we’re in may and I still haven’t gotten any discount. After three calls to EE, endless waiting on hold, telling me that they would contact BT for this and today one of their people told me, that I would be only eligible for the deal of I’d had taken out a new mobile contract with them, or would’ve upgraded my existing contract. This information was nowhere mentioned at all. When I took the broadband contract I even asked the person on call with me from which account the 50% would come of and he said my main mobile account. So now they’re telling me that I’m not eligible? This is fraud in my eyes. I’ve gone through my whole contract details and this is not mentioned anywhere. I wouldn’t have done the deal if this would have been the case. I’m more than angry right now!!!! Anybody here to help?

I have not heard of that deal, and as EE supply Broadband I would be very suspicious - why would they offer that? The best I had is the extra 5Mb of data allowance per month.
I think you will need to go back to the SMS and try and dig out details where that came from.

Hi @Mahi1980
the text you received is regarding best of both if you call 0800 800 030 and select option 1 the BT retentions advisor you speak with will have access to both your BT & EE accounts.
Thanks,

Is that BT BB with the 3 months 50% discount on your EE mobile plans or the reverse, EE BB with the 3 months 50% discount on your BT mobile plans?
EDIT: Ah, OK, the former!

@Mahi1980 that looks fairly clear to me, 50% off your mobile for three months.
Is that the number you have ben calling, and/or have you tried the one @Profile closed has quoted?
