I moved to Australia in January from the UK. I still have over 12 months to run on my EE contract. My EE sim card has been damaged and I have asked EE to send me a new one but they are refusing to do this. So I am now paying for a service that EE cannot provide. In view of this, I have asked them to cancel my contract but they are refusing to do this unless I pay a hefty early termination fee. Is this legal?

As stated in my original post, I moved to Australia – I therefore don’t have a UK address, which I also made explicit subsequently. So I didn’t really “misrepresent” anything, did I….
In your first post you didn't say you didn't have a UK address. You just said you moved to Australia.
We don't know you from Eva and Adam. We don't know you sold your house. All we know from your post is you moved to Australia. You could be someone who moved to Australia that used to live with your parents and you moved out of your parents to Australia. Meaning your parents still live at that same address.
