I've just had the email that you are now cashing in on the cost of living crisis by smashing a massive 14.4 % increase on my bill.
Its absolutely disgusting, at a time when people are struggling to eat and heat their homes you decide to hit us with that ridiculous increase, not just a few % you up it by 14.4%
Its sick and I'll never be using EE again when this contract ends, I'll also be going out of my way to warn other people from using you, there's absolutely no justification in a hike like that, its pure greed and you should be ashamed.
You're a disgrace!

Welcome to the community.
As usage across our networks continues to increase, and with our customers relying on us for connectivity more than ever before, it’s crucial that we continue to invest in our networks, services and the latest technology.
If you are still in contract, you may incur an early termination charge if you decide to leave us, unless we have told you otherwise in your price change communication.

@phillipbrown111 : It's in the T&C's you signed up to - see Mobile CPI plus price changes. Being contractual you have no option to leave early FoC.
Everybody on contract has been / will be getting them in next few weeks.

There are plenty of VMNO's out there that offer something. I've already cancelled my mums and taken out smarty SIMO for £16 per month unlimited calls/texts/data for her internet and 1p mobile for her basic non-smart phone. - Smarty / H3G data throughput isn't great in many areas, but in Hastings it works reasonably well for what she needs. Unfortunately not an option where I am due to network oversubscription (SE London) - meaning there is near zero throughput.
It's more of the principle that to access the best offers on EE SIMO they lock us in for 2 years to access something ordinarily we could get without contract with a lesser known VMNO. A simple check on "money saving expert" will show you the alternatives 👍

@Cookyweb It’s inline with CPI from December as that’s the month that’s used and that 3.9% that’s stated in the contract. Like you EE has bills energy bills to pay and they like you also had a price increase on this as those cellular masts need power.

@Dave6018 At what point did I say I agree with the price increase ? At what point have I ever said any such thing. I just understand what I agreed to when I agreed to the contract and know that CPI can and does change year over year.

Chris, we all know this, no one is saying they are breaching the contract or technically doing anything wrong, but morally it’s beyond disgusting.
All you’ve done is prove my point, we all have rising fuel and other costs, so we have to tighten our belts, we have to cut back, we have to cancel things, and miss out on things, and not heat our homes, and not feed ourselves properly, we have a tough time ahead.
EE should also have a tough year, they should cut back, they should face a hard year, but what they have done is crank up their prices, through the roof to account for the their full costs, meaning at the end of the year they will still make the same disgusting billions of pounds profit… why? Why shouldn’t they be hit by this crisis and find at the end of the year they have only 10 billion profit instead of 20 billion? You can book mark this and come back in a year and we all know they’ll make more profit this year than last… how? That’s disgusting in a crisis! They could have taken a small hit themselves and helped people, they chose their own greedy, disgusting selfish pockets and it’s shameful. Can’t their CEO get a 5 million bonus instead of his 10 million? It’s just sick

We all know that, you’re missing the point. They know people can’t afford it, an extra £10 is a lot of money when people are already struggling, they could have not let greed take over and actually helped people, played their part, added a small increase, but 15% is just beyond disgusting
