Disgusting Price Increase!

I've just had the email that you are now cashing in on the cost of living crisis by smashing a massive 14.4 % increase on my bill.

Its absolutely disgusting, at a time when people are struggling to eat and heat their homes you decide to hit us with that ridiculous increase, not just a few % you up it by 14.4%

Its sick and I'll never be using EE again when this contract ends, I'll also be going out of my way to warn other people from using you, there's absolutely no justification in a hike like that, its pure greed and you should be ashamed.

You're a disgrace!

You have been cheated, thats why you feel like that, they are basically criminals and it has to stop, something has to give. Theres a cost of living crisis so these large companies should also take a hit, why cant the countries issues affect them as well? why cant they only announce 10 billion profit this year instead of the 20 billion last year?  surely they'd expect profits to be down slightly and accept it. no they just sling the full and complete cost onto us with extras and continue to make record profits year on year.

Just disgusting that its allowed to happen and disgusting that they cream it for every pound they can force out of us

That's me done with EE. In my opinion they've been heading down hill ever since the BT takeover and this is the final straw. Shame as I was about to sign up for a smart watch so they've lost that and 3 contracts.

Couldn’t agree more! There’s absolutely no justification for it. Last time I’ll be using EE

Have any of you looked at other network forums ??   Perhaps you should it’s not just EE and O2/Virgin have put it up 17+%.   Unfortunately the contract is legal and you agreed to it.  Yes EE could skip it but then what’s the point of a legally binding document that both parties agreed upon.

Its not about other providers, its about EE, at least one other company has decided to help its customers and freeze prices, theres no justification for the hike and its unfair to loyal customers. Its not inline with anything, its not a fair increase, its a lucrative hike for the CEO and his merry men to make ridiculous profits and bonuses, theres no defending it so you are wasting your time trying.

The point of legally binding documents is irrelevant to the conversation, we all know its in there and we signed for it, thats obvious and really doesnt need pointing out, we all trust that increases will be fair, valid and justified... the point here is its completely unfair and unjustified and comes at the absolute worst possible time.

Pure selfish greed

Just because everybody else's doing it ,. It don't make it right you state the contract is legal, they thought ppi was legal and how did that end up! I had a credit agreement that Barclaycard sent me that they said it was legal, court said otherwise.

The difference between me and you  is I want to win big and you want to lose small.

Why is mid-price contract rise being investigate ? The only reason people weren't bothered before because it was a small amount which nobody couldn't be bothered caring about

Well Said mate! spot on.

I have seven contract phones all together with my big family. The effect on me by this huge increase is that I will not be renewing any contracts with ee.

Help!!! Taken out a contract with EE on 26th October and just been advised of the increase. I understood that there would be increases, but this amount is daylight robbery. Even **bleep** Turpin wore a mask. How can I get out of this contract without having to pay it all off?

I have no idea where they think people can afford these amount of Increases with everything else increasing too, are they mad?

@iamyiddo   All networks do this it’s in the contract.

Not sure why everyone seems to think that it’s only EE.     You can always move to O2 who have just had a 17+ percent increase placed on their customers.
