Disgusting Price Increase!

I've just had the email that you are now cashing in on the cost of living crisis by smashing a massive 14.4 % increase on my bill.

Its absolutely disgusting, at a time when people are struggling to eat and heat their homes you decide to hit us with that ridiculous increase, not just a few % you up it by 14.4%

Its sick and I'll never be using EE again when this contract ends, I'll also be going out of my way to warn other people from using you, there's absolutely no justification in a hike like that, its pure greed and you should be ashamed.

You're a disgrace!

So does this mean we can cancel our contract as they are rising the prices

It wouldn't; just for the 30 days of your notice at most.

Yes, @Tashahay21 , at the cost of paying off the rest of your contract term. It's contractual!

So does that mean I need to pay off the full balance of the phone then I'm
clear from it? That shouldn't be the case that's daylight robbery, see if
it wasn't as much as 14 % and like 5 or 6 that's fair but that's actually
so much I can't afford it, and u don't know what to do, I work as a
community home carer and need my phone at all times but I would just be
getting myself into debt when the prices rise.

@Tashahay21 : That's what I said! The phone & the plan are all bundled on your price.

Yes that’s right, you are stuck, it’s basically legalised robbery.

they don’t care if people can afford it or not, it’s not relevant to them, the CEO has his eyes on his next improved bonus and as long as profits beat last year by x billions the customer doesn’t come into the equation

make sure you complain in writing and stick a trust pilot review on, they are already listed as Poor which doesn’t take a genius to figure out why, but we need to warn others from signing up and millions of people look on trust pilot, they need to know they will be robbed blind by signing up

Personally I think it shouldn't be allowed. You enter a fixed contract for a period of time at a set rate. Irrespective of ad ons, the base rate for the price of your plan shouldn't change during the contract. I get the cost of living crisis is happening, however I think that one is a joke. They will profit just like all these big energy companies are. I've been with EE for a long time now and won't be returning after this.

It’s disgusting isn’t it, everyone normal is on here making our feelings known.

There are a couple of EE enthusiasts on here that can’t wait to tell you it’s in the terms and conditions so you didn’t read them properly… I’d ignore them, trying to get them to see your point is like banging your head against a brick wall, just smile and leave them to it, they go away after a while

Absolutely.. I’m off. Also leaving my long standing house insurer who has put price up by a whopping 21% after being with them 10 years and no claims … do me a favour 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻

They won’t do anything to help, they simply don’t care about customers, or customer retention and giving people a good fair deal, they care about profit, not the service they give.

this shows in their poor trust pilot status, yet even for a **bleep** service they think they can up the prices by 15%

leave them a review and write to them complaining, something has to give, when their precious profits start dropping I’m sure we’ll see a very different side to them
