I've just had the email that you are now cashing in on the cost of living crisis by smashing a massive 14.4 % increase on my bill.
Its absolutely disgusting, at a time when people are struggling to eat and heat their homes you decide to hit us with that ridiculous increase, not just a few % you up it by 14.4%
Its sick and I'll never be using EE again when this contract ends, I'll also be going out of my way to warn other people from using you, there's absolutely no justification in a hike like that, its pure greed and you should be ashamed.
You're a disgrace!

Transparent??? You are a joke. No letters sent, nothing. Just a random sms… Disgusting. I will make sure none of my friends and family ever join you. In fact I will cancel one of my contracts now.
not once I have been told you can’t match a price for me because that is only for new customers… I have been with EE for 10 years. A joke. Oh, and Leanne, spare me of your petty replies. Copy and paste from a script.

@Rosuadicutza EE don’t price match for any customer so not sure where you got that from.
To terminate the contract you’ll be required to pay off that contract if it was a store sale or it’s gone over 14 days if it was an online or phone sale.
If you’ve been a customer for over 10 years then you are aware of the yearly price increase.

Never had an increase of 14%. Price match for your customer, Chris. Spare me with the lectures. I don’t need to explain what I meant. You can tell by your attitude you’re entitled. Please stop replying to my message. You are useless anyway

I don’t need to pay you anything because one of the contracts can be terminated. And I will… plus, sorry but who are you to answer like this? Shame on you.

@Rosuadicutza No one has had a price increase of 14.4 percent until now that’s down to December CPI rate and 3.9% that’s added to it as per the T&Cs of the contract.
EE isn’t the only network increasing prices by this amount perhaps you should be aware of that also

@Rosuadicutza not like in what I’ve put it down to you. I’ve only told you facts and that it seems has upset you.

Hello,
I understand investments, etc. The only thing i don't understand is how so far EE has been able to investment at 3.9% every year growth and now you can't? For me, it's typical collusion behind the doors of large corporations and greed. Just think about it, lifting by example 7% plus 3.9% you would gain new customers resigning from other providers but....yes now will be but. They would eat EE for breakfast for playing dirty games with what you agreed with them. This is just my opinion.

I think the facts that you and others have shared (some several times) are useful in helping us all to make informed decisions in the future. But it doesn't help some see the fairness. As a Customer of EE, I am challenging EE to give us all an explanation as to why they think it is reasonable and just for them to see this through, beyond the fact it is written in our contracts. I think this is what many of us are troubled by. If I was with another operator, I would be doing the same.
I also think many of us wonder how EE are going to retain business... I mean it's not my problem, particularly, but as they put up the cost of whole plans by x%, will they lose more than that x% of Custom? Or maybe some of the % they lose will be due to people taking sim only in the future. Or, when it comes to renewals, maybe there'll be deals that will attract us to stay - who knows.
This chat has certainly given us all food for thought. If you're happy staying with EE in the future then good for you. But, if it makes you think about splitting your device and services in the future then good for you too. I've been with EE since it was T mobile and I feel I am perfectly entitled to a considered response from a responsible person.
Oh, and Giffgaff haven't increased their prices.. they didn't last year either. I'm not saying they're any good, and they are owned by O2 but, in response to "everyone else is doing it", Giffgaff isn't.

In which contract did I accept and sign the annual price increase you stated in your e-mail? Did the government give you the right to increase the price of your company, which you mentioned above, depending on the annual inflation for some reasons, or is it one of your company's principles? We have agreed to connect to the internet with the company you represent, in line with the information given to me by phone call personally by an EE company employee or by EE company contracted intermediary institutions. It has been stated that I will pay £32 during the 24-month contract period transferred to me, this figure will increase after the contract. As you can understand, there is a verbal agreement in the middle and no information full of the statements you have mentioned above has been given to me. I would like to inform you that I have not signed any written agreement containing the terms of the agreement of your company that you have informed me, in short, there is no legal agreement between your company and me. If there is an extra deduction to be made from my bank account despite all the issues I have mentioned above, you will have approved a case that will set an example by the English courts in the future, for your information.
