Hi 🙂 asking on behalf of a friend, their query is:
I currently have an iPhone on EE bought via EE online where I'm in a minimum 24 month contract that ends on the 22nd June. I have recently noticed a more suitable contract for a new iPhone through a Carphone Warehouse affiliated website, but remaining on the EE network. I contacted EE directly to see if they could match the contract being offered and was informed they couldn't. The website offer ends next week so I would like to purchase the deal while I can, however I would like my number from my current contract moved over. How do I move my number from the current EE online purchased contract to the third party EE contract I'd like to purchase next week?

Is the offer from CPW an entirely new contract or an EE upgrade, With an upgrade it replaces your previous contract & keeps the same no.

EE won't port nos between contracts. So you need to 1st port your existing no to another network's PAYG using a PAC from EE & then in reverse port it back to your new contract. This will also have the effect of cancelling your old contract.
You could alternatively "upgrade" your old contract to PAYG & then ask EE to transfer the no to your new contract.
