Hello 🙂
I have a sim only contract with EE, however this is managed and paid for by someone else. Due to changing circumstances, I would rather pay for and manage my own contract, while keeping the same phone number.
Is there a way in which I can cancel this contract myself, without contacting the account holder? I would prefer to avoid as much interaction with the account holder as possible, hence why I'm trying to cancel this without going through this person directly.
I'm not certain if my part in this contract has anything to do with this person's own phone number or contract, however if it does, I'm sure this person would still wish to keep their part in the contract.
Thank you!

Only the account holder can cancel the contract.
You could transfer it to your name but again you both need to be there to call up to do this.
You won't be able to do anything with this contract as you are not the account holder.
