Cancelled contract when it ended but still being charged

I cancelled my tablet contract as it was coming to an end and did not want to renew. I've been charged 33 pounds on top of my phone bill, twice since then. But i was not aware I would be charged and for what reason, I thought maybe once, but its happened a second time and I'm questioning whether I want to renew my phone contract next year if I'm being charged fees.
