Hi @JHM5050

Welcome to the community.

How long have you had this problem? What are your speeds like usually?

We've got some brilliant troubleshooting steps on our how do I improve my broadband speed help page.

Chris

Hi Chris, on and off since we took the contract. Unfortunately, we are used to buffering face as we have been with, Karoo since 2006 and EE is only marginally better.

With working from home it is just unworkable, will move at contract end.

Almost changed my mind today, as the PAYG Sims issued when I took the mobile broadband deal out although unable to use as the account could not be set up, almost a year plus later almost changed them to a monthly deal, wait, the deal has been online for almost am hour failed, why IT issues too slow!

Can you really appreciate the irony of that situation. TESCO were are thou! I off

Sorry, @JHM5050. I wrongly assumed it was home broadband.

What does the coverage checker show your service should be like in your area?

You can also check for known problems in the area by clicking the 'I have a problem' button on the coverage checker.

As a Tip, I pre-date the PC, was in my mid-20s when Alan Sugar sold the basic platform and MS invented DOS.

Your trail of answers although helpful to an IT geek, simply turn the average person away, we can all impress with our industry language. Just an observation try speaking or offering basic information.

Sent a link asking have I resolved this issue, still on the buffer, as stated will live with it till contract end, like the phone it will move, took delivery of a nice no quibble SIM from TESCO, works.

Hi @JHM5050,

We'd love to help with this issue but we just need a few more details about your setup. Do you get your internet connection through a mobile broadband router/dongle or through a router connected to your landline?

Thanks

James
