Becoming Primary Account Holder

In 2019, my mother bought me a new phone for my birthday, and as such she was the primary account holder associated with the phone. 

 

Unfortunately, shortly after, she passed away. I have now decided that I would like to upgrade, but I cannot do that as only the primary account holder can upgrade.

 

Would anyone be able to tell me how I make my account the primary account? Thanks

Closing the account of someone who’s died

 

Use the online form to tell us about an account holder's death.

We’ll need:

  • the account holder’s name and number
  • a number to contact you on 

When an account holder dies you can either:

  • disconnect their broadband or number and close their account
  • transfer the connection or number to someone else
