Apple Wi-fi calling for other Devices won’t switch on

I’ve tried everything I can think off, rebooting all my devices, signing in and out of iCloud, resetting all my network settings but nothing I do seems to work.

When I go to switch this on (Add Wi-fi calling for other devices) I get a message that says ‘to allow Wi-fi calling on this account contact ee’

Apple says ee support this, and I know of other users who says it works… what am I doing wrong, is there a setting in my ee account I need to able?

Hi @Tinbum73

Thanks for coming to the community about this.

I hope you're well and having a nice day, are you up to much?

I have listed below the best steps to take when trying to get this set up. Have you been able to do all of them?

  • Each device is signed into the same Apple ID.
  • Each device is signed in to FaceTime with the same Apple ID.
  • Each device has Wi-Fi turned on.
  • Each device is connected to the same network using Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
  • On your iPhone, go to Settings > Phone > Calls on Other Devices, then turn on Allow Calls on Other Devices.
  • On your iPad or iPod touch, go to Settings > FaceTime, then turn on Calls from iPhone.
  • On your Mac, open the FaceTime app, then choose FaceTime > Preferences. Click Settings, then select Calls From iPhone.

Thanks.

Chris.

Thank you Chris,

I've tried all this to no avail 😞 just keeps popping up with the same message.

@Tinbum73 Thanks for trying all that.

Do you also have all the latest software updates downloaded and installed on all your devices?

Thanks.

Chris.

Hello, yes all the latest software and devices too.

Thanks @Tinbum73 I think the best thing to do at this stage is have a chat with our Tech Gurus so they can look into this with you.

Thanks.

Chris.
