Well this sucks
I got told if I join EE and order a watch my partner can use the watch on his account, went through the whole process, got credit checked, agreed to all the contracts, got an order confirmation number, just called to check the status, being told the item will NEVER be shipped as its a "direct acquisition" and as such it can't be shipped or used with my partners EE number / account, I don't have an EE number which I was always honest about and 2 different people on the phone told me this was ok and the watch could be used with his account, now I'm being told they won't even ship it.
On the phone now still to the guy, he's using unicorns as an example of being told something can happen when it actually can't WTF, feel messed around and lied to, and the solution being offered is "there's nothing that can be done" grand customer service, and to think I was going to join EE tomorrow for my iPhone 12 contract, I think not
