Adding another sim card from a different network

Can I add another sim card from different network providers to my phone -Samsung galaxy a70 

I did buy my phone about 1.5 years ago.

I pay monthly.

Did you buy it yourself direct from EE? If so, it will be locked to EE and need to be unlocked to take a non-EE SIM.
