4GEE home router - can I use SIM card in my phone

Flossie2103

Slightly convoluted question!

I have a 4GEE router with 500gb monthly data. We are going on a long journey and it would be really useful to have WiFi in the car/when we get there.

1- can I use the router sim in a spare phone (iPhone 5)and tether the iPad/laptop

2- if not, can I run the router off the car cigarette lighter and if so what cable do I need?

thank you!

@Flossie2103   Put the sim in the iPhone and use that.   The home 4G router is not a portable device as such and I wouldn’t recommend you use it that way.
