2 phones on 1 account, upgrade swap

Hi, I have 2 phones on one account (mine and my partner's phone). I decided not to upgrade when I was entitled to and have a sim only deal. My partner is not eligible to upgrade yet, however her phone has faults and she needs a new one. Can I upgrade and give that phone to her? I.e. can we switch upgrade dates?

Thanks

Hello @Hannahsp

The upgrade itself will be specific to each number and can only be used by the mobile number in question.

Nothing stops you from buying the new phone on whichever number is entitled to it, and using it with whichever SIM as suits yourself - providing the SIM fits the correct phone.

Many thanks, that's helpful. It's a Samsung s9 and an iPhone se, so I'll just have to check the sim sizes. Much appreciated.
