Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

My partner ordered PM BT 256GB on 29/09 and his deadline for trade-in was 14/10! Then got texts they were adding £550 charge onto the bill and then his phone turned up on 19/10 😅 I find it weird how your deadline is so much further away when he ordered after you.

Ive been reading and people have expected dates while i only have order confirmed. Should i be worried?

You should know that the order might be delivered towards the of next month or early December

Because is past 28 days when call ee about your order they don’t answer, is music after music 🙄😤

I have just been on the phone with them as they called to update me.

Recap, I was told on ordering would get both devices next day. However that was not correct and turns out they have put down the wrong delivery address and wrong telephone number on the orders, so I had no updates on dispatch. They claim this was human error system side but my contracts both state the correct details. 

Anyway there was a failed delivery of the 15 plus as it was to the wrong address and it has now been returning to them since the 17th.

They claim they now have it back. But because of how their system works they can’t reissue the Plus device till my account reverts back to out of contract. 

From there they will then issue a new upgrade, meaning that I’m going back to the end of the queue.

However the system may take 5 days to revert back and then the queue for the plus in pink is around 7-10 days.. at best! They won’t even advance the order to next day etc as they say it’s another team that decides who gets what first. 

The 15 pro max I’ve ordered will more than likely be delivered in the next 5 -7 days I’m told.. so arriving before the plus now.. so anyone waiting for the NT version might be in luck.

I have been offered £50 credit, not sure if that’s an insult or acceptable?

The customer service is 70% of the time soo useless

The very fact that whoever processed my upgrades has somehow put in a random telephone number and the wrong addresses is really concerning. If someone had taken the deliveries in I would still be on the hook to pay for them.

Shocking how long we’ve all waited. I’ve been waiting nearly 5 weeks!! Given up with ringing ee. They say different every time!!

Phone delivered guess changing to blue was the best option besides being on a limbo at the end next year there’s always other upgrade 😂
