What does sim free Apple Watch mean?

I am looking into buying a series 10 Apple Watch, it says for a sim free one it is £529. Does sim free mean it is the GPS only version or is it the cellular version just without a data plan for the watch?

We certainly do @taaseen99

We have an Apple Watch Series 10 GPS 46mm Jet Black Aluminium Case with Ink Sport Loop and this model is £429.

There are also 42mm models available. From having a browse too, there are silver and black options 😊

Hi @taaseen99

Welcome to the community 😊

It's fab to hear you're looking at grabbing a new Apple Watch!

Are you looking at buying this from the EE store online

Perfect @taaseen99

I've taken a closer look at the model I believe you have your eye on, which is the Apple Watch Series 10 GPS + Cellular

This means once you have the Watch, you can set up a Smartwatch plan.

If the model you're looking at was GPS only, you won't be able to add a Smartwatch plan but you can still connect this via Bluetooth.

I hope this helps.
