Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.
Same! Someone mentioned a lot of the times this info doesn’t even update and even after you get DPD notification nothing updates on this! Wel see I guess…
This is correct. Which is also why a lot of us on the anytime upgrade plan are annoyed as next year we cant upgrade for release date of the new iPhone without paying the balance of the initial 12 months on this one! Swings and roundabouts I know at the end of the day! But still frustratingly pants! Terrible release but is what it is. We just have to suck it up and wait!
I spoke with customer services earlier and not only did they give me £30 account credit, but they agreed to reset my upgrade cycle back to September, and not when I receive the phone. So no, you don’t have to ‘suck it up’, talk to them.
Thanks I actually meant in terms of delivery for the handset., But I appreciate the info. Will defo call them back and have that discussion as I think it’s extremely unfair. Cheers.
Received my DPD notification today & pin and then later EE confirmation shortly after which was not expected after online CS told me a new stock delivery wouldn’t be for another 18 days ! Monday delivery apparently so will believe it when I see it. Order placed Friday 22nd September 15 Pro in natural titanium.
