Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

Top 3 White 512 have received. How about the rest 3.
I am sucking my thumb now as went for 256GB White.
Couldn't imagine for 256GB NT PM order. Probably may be new year gift.

Contrac renews when ‘you receive the phone’ (according to customer service), so if you’re not receiving the phone until mid/late October it will be 13 months, Which will mess up everyone’s upgrade cycle.

Weirdly enough if you check the delivery times on the different colours on Apple, White has the longest lead time, then Natural and then Blue/Black - or at least that’s what it was earlier when I checked 🤪

According to the order confirmation email I got, it states in the T&Cs at the bottom that the contract date starts from the date of order confirmation, even if the plan doesn't start until you receive the device.

I was never promised it on delivery day, despite pre-ordering on the 15th I was naturally expecting it to be delivered on launch day 22nd.
It was only after I had my order through it said more than 28 days. So they advertise one thing, then did another. EE are happy to take your money, but when it comes to delivering its somebody else’s fault.

I am not sure how they managing the assembly line. Market can always be gauged with the leak photos. That what Apple is not interested too.
If you see Pixel line-up, they are like one month ahead leak from Google and could schedule in accordingly.
Farce about months late delivery really damage the company image.

Customer service of telling people it’s from the day they receive the phone.
