Hey Guys,
Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

I was also promised my Pro Max black titanium 256GB on launch day, come to terms with the fact there’s probably going to be a delay lol. No update on tracking until just now, there’s a new section that’s appeared on the EE tracking that says:
with todays date at the bottom, no idea what it means, but is anyone else’s the same?

This is what's so annoying, it's like the text message. My order isn't on track it was meant to be today!! Just be honest with people!

Spoke with CS about three five times today. Thrice on live chat, twice on phone. Some said it’s still on open sales order status, meaning it hasn’t been allocated yet. Others said 28dqys. They ke said within 24hrs I’d see the DPD notification. I ordered the 18th, after the one of preorder day wasn’t successful. PM Blue Titanium 256GB

I wasn’t promised launch day I was just hoping I’d be in with a chance because of the issues they were facing launch day and the day after, I know il be waiting 28 days or within the time frame. I guess they text everyone because of the issues they faced last year and before. It’s not the cs fault, they probably don’t help the situation by “lying”

For those that are worried about next years upgrade timing if they have to wait 28 days check your order confirmation it says this in their terms at the bottom -
When you pre-order or order a device that is out of stock, your contract with us starts when your order is accepted but your plan will start at (and you will be charged from) the moment we send your new device out to you (i.e. just before you receive it).

I raised a complaint and they offered me £6.98 to cover my delivery fee 😂 laughable really and just apologised, there colleague messed my order up, put it through as a straight upgrade rather than an anytime return and I will be charged £960 for my iPhone luckily I can do a manual return but a manager will have to manually apply when my iPhone is returns and ordered twice on Friday to be told I have to wait 28 days plus after being promised on three occasions that it would be here on launch day, I’m going to let my new contract run and leave when I can network coverage is brilliant but customer service from the sales team is atrocious

I had same issue when I entered my phone number when I used my email I get tracking information however just still saying order confirmed.

Just checked my tracking number again from my order confirmation email (Ordered on phone - on Friday, confirmation received on Friday). Status history is;
Pre-order confirmed - September 15th
Your order is on track - September 22nd.
I was told my phone would arrive on the 22nd when I placed my order - and the advisor made a big deal of it too. So I’ve no clue how EE can claim my order is ‘on track’ - given it clearly didn’t arrive when it was supposed to and there’s been zero attempt to fulfil the order. Roll on 72 hours (that’s the waiting period I’ve been given to speak to a manager) when I can be filled with the joy of probably being lied to again and then whatever system or external factor is attempted to be blamed for this mess.
