Hey Guys, 

Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking. 

I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.

It’s very nice to hold. The rounded edges do make a massive difference vs the stainless steel

XKO is from an online order apparently, they dont track according to people on here - i started mine online (and completed by phone saturday morning) i only have the XKO

Couldn’t have my series 9 watch as they said I need a pin which was sent to my watch number tamping

So I've just started going through this rigmarole with EE.  I ordered my phone on the day of preorder release and pretty much bang on the hour too.  I did this online via the EE website and got all my tracking information through really fast.  Fast forward to release day (today) and the tracking remains totally unchanged.

  • I called CS in the afternoon and was told it would definately be today if not today then guaranteed tomorrow (Saturday).  CS told me they would call me back to check this evening (they never did).
  • I called this evening to get an update and now I'm being told it's 28 days.  CS claimed it was specifically an issue with stock of the iPhone 15 Pro Max in Blue which is what I ordered.

I mean, I can wait it's not going to change my life or anything but the story is very inconsistent and I have no idea where my phone is or when it will arrive and neither do EE.  So much for getting this on the day of release as the website, email and texts claimed.

It’s a shambles. And they know it. 

See..I ordered blue as was told the blue was the least popular. I case mine anyway so it’s irrelevant. Other people have said other colours have been least popular.

Was really hoping I’d be in with the chance to receive my phone today, called Friday at 1pm waiting half an hour and after waiting they couldn’t do my upgrade as the systems went down. Manage to finally upgrade Saturday morning to the iPhone 15 pro max black titanium 256gb. You would honestly think with such demand Apple would produce enough phones crazy! Even though i pre ordered day after launch with systems down it’s still a within 28 wait.

I attempted to order mine bang on 1pm last week as soon as I got on the phone 5mins past 1 their systems went down. Over the course of 5 hours I managed to order 4 online. Then phoned up to see if any of these went through and was told they hadn’t. I ordered the pro max natural titanium 512gb at 8:30 sat and was told it would be here today. Obviously received nothing. Phoned up and they said no it definitely will be. Phoned up again and now I’m being told up to 28days when my friend ordered his blue one 7 hours after me last Saturday and received it today. Absolute shambles Ee have no idea what they’re talking about. Just wish they wouldn’t lie.
