Just wanted to create a separate thread from the Discussion thread to specifically discuss EE Preorder tracking.
I think it's always helpful/reassuring to keep each other updated on the latest when it comes to this time of year, especially with EE's not-so-great track record on keeping customers informed about their preorders.
This isn't true from my understanding of anytime upgrade. if you're making the distinction between "contract" and "plan", then all of EEs wording around the anytime upgrade offer talks about the plan duration, and not the contract. It appears you have to have 12 months of plan paid before they'll let you upgrade for free.
I would challenge it based on the anytime upgrade entering a new 24 month plan with a different value therefore being a change in original contracted terms.
I argued something similar with regards to my 24 month Smart phone plan which included the cost of my iPhone 13 Pro. I’ve fully paid that now but they are still going to charge me the full contract price even though the phone is now mine! I should only be charged for the sim plan until my new iPhone eventually arrives! This is why it works in EE’s favour to have low stock and long delays
No… I don’t think so. My phone is now with DPD, apparently it was sent to the wrong DPD depot, there’s no option to schedule a delivery today, not even to go and pick it up in person 😕
I ordered 2 x 1tb pro max one in natural and one in white. Ordered almost instantly, recieved the tracking email 1 minute later. However, was told that delivery was "aimed to be within 28 days". Every year with Apple its the same story.
